A day at the park can be a refreshing rest from all the classes and focus you are putting into your recovery. Sometimes just getting out there and getting some exercise is enough to really put your mind at ease and give you that much needed boost.

Phipps Skate Park

Phipps Skate Park is 23,000 square feet, concrete base surface with metal ramps and decks made with Skate-Lite Pro skating surface. Helmets mandatory, waiver must be on file for all park users. Waivers must be signed by a skater’s parent or legal guardian or notarized if under the age of 18. All hours and session times are subject to change due to special events and inclement weather. Palm Beach Gardens Skate Park

This newly renovated 12,000 square foot facility is designed to be enjoyed by both the beginning and advanced level rider. Shaded spectator seating gives those who want to sit back and watch a great view of the action. Helmets are required.

Come to The Y and skateboard or inline skate on our state of the art ramps, half pipes, pyramids and bowls. Oelsner Skate Park provides a supervised facility to participate and train in this extreme sport. Oelsner is designed to enlighten the beginner and challenge the advanced skater. The park has 5 stadium field lights for night time skating.

    In the category of shoes that would actually work well, to add to Vans, I would love to see a pair of Nike Cortez. Maybe the old adidas Sambas or Gazelles. Skateboard shoes, too. Maybe DC shoes.
